Hi! My name is Pim and Im in eight grade, attending RIS, Ruamrudee International School. I live in Thailand, where it is hot and humid all year long but a flood has occurred recently.
Durring the beginning of October, a flood occurred and lasted to the end of November. Because the flood was uncontrollable, our school has closed down durring mid of October and we returned by mid November. Durring the time off, me and my family had evacuated to HuaHin, hoping for relaxation after the stressed we have received over the flood but I couldn't exactly relax. We had online lessons and online homework to complete. Many people were eager to return to school since they have received major stress over online lessons and homework. School was originally scheduled to resume by the end of October, then it was pushed back by about a week, then it was pushed FAR FAR back to the mid of November, then it was pushed forward to the 11th of November. There were a whole lot of changes but school has finally resumed on mid November. We were very happy because the returning of school marked the ending of online lessons and homework. Nevertheless, our happiness soon disappeared when the make up schedule was finalized... We had no more half days, some of our holidays were taken off, we had to come to school on a Saturday, but the worst of all, for 2 weeks straight, school hours were extended. School hours are from 7:00am - 3:25pm which is a big change to my schedules. Now, Im basically dying from that schedule. I have to wake up earlier and I have to stay longer at school. I really hope these 2 weeks ends soon!
